In the year of 2007, three old friends met again: Cenneth, Tommy, and Håkan. Remembering the days back in the Sixties when they had a band together called The Bramblers. "we found out that we still had that great feeling for rockmusic so we decided to revive our band.”Soppa” is the Swedish word for ”soup”. A Soup can be made out of almost anything, and still be very tasty. Just like our music.
Zoppa started just for fun, without any big plans for the future. "We had so much fun together and the music sounded good. After a while we felt that it would be cool if some more friends liked to join our group. Håkan left and Björn and Claes became new members. A band without a drummer is not a real band and at the end of 2007 we found Hasse. Zoppa had now become a fine coverband, playing all the great songs from the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties. Music is a lot of hard work but we can promise you that we enjoy every minute we spend together.
